“BETTER RELAXING LOCATION”
We stayed in blue ginger on 7th and 8 th Jan with a group of 55 members.We are working for Wipro (Cochin) and that was our incentive trip for the year of 2011.Firstly on the way to he resort was so nice and we enjoyed it greatly.After that the staff welcomed us by their way with some fresh juice.We really enjoyed that property.The location was so nice and the ambiance of the property was unexplainable.We enjoyed in the swimming pool,natural pool and evening they provide bonfire with music.The next day after breakfast majority of us gone for a guided trekking and that was really a fantastic experience.The staff was so supportive and courteous. The food was very nice and our group male members gone for food competitions conduct by ourself...
Any way the stay, food... everything was so good and we are planning a family trip to blue ginger.... |

“Tranquil!!!”
We chose the Blue Ginger resort for welcoming the new year 2012. In hindsight, it was one of the best new year celebrations. The resort is set in a hilly forest area and yet just a few kilometers from the Mysore-Calicut highway. The beauty of the location is breath-taking and is supplemented by clean and comfortable rooms, caring staff, delicious cuisine (great variety which includes the Kerala delicacies).
As part of the new year celebrations, the resort had organized a music band which played some good english, hindi, tamil and kannada tracks. This was followed by a DJ night.
We stayed in a tree house was with connecting rooms which was perfect for a family stay. There is a water stream very close to the resort and we went on a guided trek - a good choice for any adventure enthusiast. For the not so adventure savvy, a stroll along the Pookot lake or a boat ride would be very interesting - the Pookot lake is about 6 kms from the resort. Since the resort in set on a hill, children should always be supervised.
Any mention about Kerala would be incomplete without the ayurvedic massage. Although the resort is still putting the massage center in place, the staff was more than happy to arrange for massage in a nearby massage center. Talk about going the extra mile - the staff did just that.
Note that the resort DOES NOT serve liquor - one of the many reasons for choosing the resort for a perfect family holiday. The "2 nights, 3 days" package is best suited for a weekend getaway. The cost is slightly on the higher side but definitely worth the money.
Overall a great experience. We plan to visit the place again during the rainly season to enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. |

“closed nature in god on country”
I had marvelous experience at this resort . It was after viewing the review from trip advisor. we booked a ginger suit for 2nights 3days . The location was awesome, and graced by god and nature. There is natural poll and water falls inside the property it was great................,the inclusions of the package provided over the internet were all well taken care off by the staff. the buffet meals was very delicious and homely..Including a good variety north Indian dishes . there is plenty of area to Rom in side the resort . There was also a good experience in tricking. we saw black monkeys,wild squirrels,variety of birds and butterfly.The place was very cam , quite and Eco friendly filled with fresh air . I strongly recommend this resort for those who planning to wayanad. |
